Wilson & Willy's Yearbook, Volume 1.

Posted by Rita Mehta on

When we set out to build Wilson & Willy’s, the desire to connect with incredibly talented, creative individuals was the prevailing motivation behind our work. As the year has gone by, we’ve found ourselves in the midst of a movement, spending each day learning from and working with inspiring craftspeople producing work that is not only driven by quality but also of substance.

In an effort to visually explore their process, we started by focusing on the work environment. What did it look like and feel like? How did it influence the output? Was it what we expected? As we spent time with each artist, we realized that it was not the work environment alone that influenced their work, but also where they escaped after the work day was complete. We saw a distinct connection between where we live, where we work, and where we play; a relationship that undoubtedly shapes our creativity and our work.

This yearbook follows a group of manufacturers, artists, and photographers into the depths of these contrasting environments and shows us how true creativity and collaboration can be achieved.

Over the next several weeks, we'll release the in-depth interviews and stories that we've featured in this edition. Here's a sneak peek.
