Conway Electric believes everything deserves great design. They make Quality Connections™ through well-designed products built by American workers in living-wage facilities and were founded to design and make better products in the United States, beginning with electrical components. Because most imported electrical products are poorly designed and manufactured in anonymous factories under questionable working conditions, Conway owns or has exclusive relationships with factories producing their components. Their weaving factory has been a family business for almost 50 years and weaves solid colored or patterned cotton thread over industrial grade wire - the only factory of its kind in the United States. They use a local factory to powder coat our components and source from American suppliers and another factory in downtown Seattle manufactures components and assembles the finished product. Conway is influenced by nature, architecture, and industry, drawing heavily from the mid century modern aesthetic. They strive to achieve simplicity while keeping products friendly and providing local opportunity. When you buy from Conway Electric you directly support the fabric of American manufacturing - families and friends making a living building things with their hands. The components in every product is recyclable and plastic is only used where required by law or safety standards.
