Mayo Knitting Mills

Currently owned and operated by the third generation, Mayo Knitting Mills was established in 1932 by brothers Columbus and Benjamin Mayo.  Along with their knitting mill, the Mayo family also has acres of farmland growing cotton and peanuts.  The Mayo family has long been active in the Tarboro, N.C. community, a quaint, and friendly town about 90 miles east of Raleigh, North Carolina.
